Électricité de France (EDF), the largest energy producer and distributor in France, has developed an action plan approved by the ASN (Autorité de sûreté nucléaire - Nuclear Safety Authority).

For this requalification plan, LMV World has been called to cooperate in the production of the painted steel structures of the new Diesels d'Ultime Secours reactors for a total of 700 tons.

This work – extremely important following the disastrous accidents that took place in March 2011 at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Station in Japan – has been entrusted to internationally renowned companies, including LMV. LMV World carried out the work in compliance with the quality standards and contractual deadlines.

Each production unit in the Nuclear Park will be equipped with an additional power supply and the installations will have a far greater resistance compared to the intensity of the Fukushima accident.
